Officials say that driver’s license and state ID transactions cannot be processed on the island until the County’s connection to the state mainframe is restored. Vehicle registrations and renewals are available online and at community kiosks. If you’re license is expiring soon, call the DMV at 808-241-1949 and staff will discuss options.
