The Department of Hawaiian Homelands has commenced the construction of “Hanapepe Phase Two,” a housing project aimed at providing more housing options for Native Hawaiian families on Kauai.  This development is situated on Kauai’s western side and encompasses over 28 acres of land. The project includes the creation of 82 single-family lots, supplementing the existing 47 residential lots in the Homesteads division.
