The Department of Parks and Recreation (DOPR) held a blessing ceremony on Tuesday, commemorating the completion of the playcourt renovations at Anne Knudsen Park, also known as Kōloa Park, on Maluhia Road. This project included significant renovations and rebuilding of the tennis court, pickleball courts and basketball court at the park.
The $958,000 project was funded through the County’s Capital Improvement Program and was completed by Jas. W. Glover Ltd. General Contractors. Construction began in April 2022, and the playcourts were substantially completed and opened to the public on May 1, 2023.
