Celebrations for Arbor Day will take place across Hawaii this weekend. Arbor Day is Saturday, November 4th, and a variety of organizations will feature tree giveaways, educational booths, and workshops. The Kauai Landscape Industry Association will be at the Kukui Grove Center in Lihue giving out trees and more from 9 am to noon. Arbor Day comes at the start of Hawaii’s rainy season, the ideal time to plant a tree.
