Kauai Police arrested four men in connection with selling counterfeit jewelry. 32 year-old Mihail Drugan, 24 year old Daniel Cain, 37 year old Vasile Alexandru, and 29 year old Nicolae Dragomir, all of Romania reportedly told victims they were selling jewelry because they needed money due to a stolen wallet or their ID’s were stolen. The men were arrested on suspicion of second-degree theft, which is a class C felony.
