The Hawaii State Department of Health retested Poipu Beach Pavilion on Kauai Tuesday after high levels of bacteria were found during routine monitoring. The beach has historically met the acceptable threshold level and there is no known source of fecal contimination according to Kauai Now News. The Department of Health collected another sample and is retesting the site. They will update the notification based on results of the retesting.
