KPD seeks public’s help locating two suspects

LĪHUʻE – The Kaua‘i Police Department (KPD) is seeking the public’s help in locating two suspects with outstanding warrants. The public is advised to use caution and not approach either individual.

David Higuchi, a 46-year-old man of Kapa‘a, is sought on a $1,100 warrant for the offense of Unauthorized Entry into a Motor Vehicle in the First Degree and Theft in the Third Degree, and an additional $1,200 warrant for the offense of Theft of Credit Card and Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card. Higuchi is 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs approximately 180 pounds, has black hair, brown eyes, and a tattoo on the left forearm.

Isaiah Pongasi-Adric, a 26-year-old man of Anahola, is sought on a $50,000 probation warrant and a $5,000 warrant for the offense of Resist Order to Stop a Motor Vehicle and Driving Without a Valid License. Pongasi-Adric is 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs approximately 195 pounds, has black hair, brown eyes, and a neck tattoo.

In addition to these warrants, both individuals are also under investigation for other ongoing criminal activities.

KPD would like to remind the public that any person who renders assistance to Higuchi or Pongasi-Adric may be subject to prosecution for criminal offenses such as Hindering Prosecution. Rendering assistance includes providing money, transportation, weapons, disguise, or other means of avoiding discovery, apprehension, prosecution, or conviction.
