The National Tropical Botanical Garden on Kauai has started a monthly native plant giveaway program. The first “Grow Aloha” giveaway was held March 16th with 150 people turning out to adopt wiliwili trees. The garden will have free plants available for pickup at the South Shore Visitors Center at McBryde and Allerton Gardens in Koloa and Limahuli Garden in Hanalei on the third Saturday of every month from 9 am to noon.
