Police arrested a Kekaha woman in connection to a 3-car crash. Police say 50-year-old Helen Santiago was taken into custody after the crash that closed Kaumualii Highway on Monday. Investigators say a 2019 white Nissan side-swiped a 2016 Toyota heading west. The Nissan reportedly continued to cross the center line, colliding head-on with a 2011 Toyota truck. A passenger in the 2016 Toyota was taken to Wilcox hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Santiago faces charges of operating a vehicle while under the influence.
