Researchers at the University of Hawaii say half the world’s coral reefs could be dead by 2035 in a worst case scenario. Researchers cited climate change causing global coral reefs to become overwhelmed by unsuitable environment conditions. Findings were posted this month in the scientific journal PLOS Biology.
