A section of Kaumuali’I Highway was shut down Thursday after an SUV veered off the road and hit a utility pole. The pole then fell and hit another passing vehicle. The driver of the SUV was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at the hospital. No one else was injured. An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
