County announces holiday closures
LĪHU‘E – In observance of the General Election, County of Kaua‘i offices will be closed on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
Closures also include the following facilities on Nov. 5:
- all neighborhood centers;
- the Waimea and Kapa‘a swimming pools;
- the Puhi Metals Recycling Center;
- the Reynolds Recycling HI5 Redemption Center in Līhu‘e;
- the Kekaha Landfill; and
- all refuse transfer stations.
The HI5 Redemption Centers in Kīlauea and Kapa‘a will remain open.
The schedule for residential refuse pick-up will remain unchanged.
The Kaua‘i Bus will be operating on its regular schedule on the holiday. As a reminder, the Kaua‘i Bus will offer free bus service islandwide on Nov. 5.
Regular business hours for county offices and services will resume on Wednesday, Nov. 6.
