A new population of the invasive Little Fire Ant covering anywhere from 13 to 35 acres was found in Wailua State Park. A concerned citizen reportedly submitted a sample and the Kauai Invasive Species Committee of the Hawaii Department of Agriculture confirmed the infestation.
