The Kauai Fire Department is partnering with the Kauai Philippine Cultural Center for the inaugural Fire Prevention Week kick-off today. The free event starts at 9 am at the Kauai Philippine Cultural Center in Lihue. The Kauai Emergency Management Agency, Kauai Police Department, and Ocean Safety Bureau will have booths set up and there will be CPR demonstrations, fire extinguisher training, and more.
