Gov. David Ige ordered that the United States flag and the Hawaii state flag be flown at half-staff at the Hawaii State Capitol and upon all state offices and agencies as well as the Hawaii National Guard in the State of Hawaii from sunrise until sunset today. Kauai Now News reports this is a mark of respect for the late James W. Wong, a former member of the State of Hawaii House of Representatives and Senate. Wong’s memorial service is today.
