The Hanalei National Wildlife Refuge Viewpoint site will open to the public on April 30th. The new long-awaited site will be the primary location for the public to visit the refuge. It will be open Tuesday through Saturday from 9 am to 3 pm. The viewpoint is a nearly 5-and-a-half acre parcel along Kuhio Highway in Princeville featuring views of the Greater Hanelei Valley and Bay. There will be a parking lot that can accommodate up to 25 cars and three small buses for short-term use.
