A high surf warning has been issued for north and west facing shores of Kauai. A large swell is expected to build today after arriving late Wednesday night, producing warning-level surf with heights of 25 to 35 feet along north-facing shores, and 18 to 24 feet along west-facing shores. The warning is currently set to expire at 6 pm Friday.
