The Kauai Independent Food Bank announces the Fall Food & Fund Drive is UNDERWAY!.
Now through December 31st, KIFB is asking for non-perishable food donations.
Most-needed items include Rice, Pasta/Pasta Sauce, Canned soups/stews, canned proteins (tuna, chicken, spam), Canned fruits & vegetables, Hot & cold cereals, Nut butters, and shelf-stable milk.
Food donations can be dropped off at our warehouse at 3285 Wa’apa Road ( https://youtu.be/4iN1KbnkGJo ) in Nawiliwili Harbor Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm OR at any Kauai Fire Department location, or where you see our banner & donation bins.
Monetary donations can be made at Kauai food bank dot org (www.kauaifoodbank.org) Click on “Donate Now”.
The goal is simple – 75,000 POUNDS of food and $75,000 to feed our hungry ohana on Kaua’i.
ALL donations stay right here on Kaua’i.
