County announces holiday closures
In observance of the Christmas and New Year’s Day holidays, County of Kaua‘i offices will be closed on Wednesday, Dec. 25, and Wednesday, Jan. 1.
Closures also include the following facilities on Dec. 25 and Jan. 1:
- all neighborhood centers;
- all refuse transfer stations;
- the Kekaha Landfill;
- the Puhi Metals Recycling Center;
- The Līhu‘e HI5 Redemption Center;
- The Waimea and Kapa‘a swimming pools; and
- The Kapa‘a Sunshine Market at Kapa‘a Beach Park.
The schedule for residential refuse pick-up will remain unchanged.
The Kaua‘i Bus will be operating on its regular schedule on the holidays.
Regular business hours for county offices and services will resume on Thursday, Dec. 26, and Thursday, Jan. 2.
