County of Kauai offices will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. In observance of the holidays, on December 25th and January 1st all neighborhood centers, all refuse transfer stations, the Kekaha Landfill, the Puhi Metals Recycling Center, and the Lihue HI5 Redemption Center will all be closed both days. The Waimea and Kapaa swimming pools are already closed on Mondays, so staff will observe the holidays December 26th and January 2nd.
