A former Kauai JROTC instructor is headed to prison for sexually exploiting a student. 66-year-old Victor Aguilar was sentenced to 14 years in federal prison and 10 years of supervised release for two counts of possession of child porn. He pleaded guilty in May while a JROTC instructor at Waimea High School. Authorities say he also persuaded or induced the victim, who police say was one of his students, to engage in sexually explicit conduct for the purpose of producing it . He admitted to having sexual contact with the victim roughly 25 times in a six-month period.
