Two kayakers from Tennessee were rescued from the Hanalei River on Monday. No injuries were reported. Personnel with the Hanalei Fire Station and Ocean Safety Bureau responded around 3:45 pm after they were notified of two kayakers in distress in the Hanalei River. The two reportedly lost their kayaks after being caught in elevated conditions. The scene was cleared after just over an hour.
