Due to flooding in the area, Kuhio Highway near Hanalei Bridge is closed according to Kauai Police. The Kuhio Highway southbound contraflow between Kapule Highway and the Kapaa Bypass will not open today. Crews responded to flooding near the bridge and did not have sufficient rest to open the contraflow this morning.
