Kauai County Parks and Recreation held a grand opening and blessing at Laukona Park in Hanama’ulu Wednesday. Improvements to the park include new walkways and parking stalls that comply with the Americans With Disabilities Act, a new pavilion and playground, seating along the basketball court and more. Construction on the 750 thousand dollar project was completed in August.
