The Parks and Recreation Department says the area surrounding the Lydgate Campground will close for part of the day next Wednesday, December 6th. From 6 am to 2:30 pm crews will be cleaning and performing important grounds maintenance of all the facilities. The closure coincides with the weekly campground closure and will also include the entire parking lot. The Lydgate Campground is usually closed from 10 am Tuesday to noon Thursday, so the closure will not affect any campers.
