Kauai police are investigating a burglary at Macy’s Department Store early Monday morning. Officers responded to a glass break alarm at the store in Kukui Grove Shopping Center shortly before 4 am. They found multiple jewelry cases shattered and about 20 thousand dollars worth of jewelry stolen. An investigation is ongoing. Last week it was announced that the store will close in the coming months.
