Kauai police are investigating the suspicious death of a Kapaa man. On Friday officers responded to reports on an unconscious man, later identified as 52-year-old John Diaz, with multiple injuries near north Kealia Beach. Diaz was treated at the scene before being rushed to Wilcox Memorial Center, where he later died. Police have arrested 48-year-old Karl Tondevold and 43-year-old Christy Selvage on second degree murder charges. If you have any information, call KPD or submit a tip online or via text.
