The Kauai Fire Department held a ceremony welcoming 12 new firefighters. The ceremony took place at the Lihue Civic Center. This year’s class included seven recruits from the Kauai Fire Department, one from the Lihue Airport Rescue and Firefighting Unit, and one from the Barking Sands Fire and Emergency services.
