Kauai Police Department recognized three employees of the month on Friday. Sergeant Shawn Hanna, Officer Joseph Himongala, and Officer Tyler Henshaw honored for the investigative work in a 2025 fatal crash in Lihue. The investigation led to the arrest of the hit-and-run driver is has been charged with negligent homicide in the death.
