The front counter at the county Planning Department at the Kapule Building in the Lihue Civic Center will remain closed for the rest of the week. According to Kauai Now News, during the closure all services are still active. Any payments that are submitted to the Planning Department should be in an envelope clearly marked “Planning Department” and have the respective zoning application number and/or Tax Map Key.
