A Read Across American celebration and giveaway will be held Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Center Stage of Kukui Grove in Lihue. Kauai Now News reports the event is sponsored by USA Federal Credit Union, Kumu’s Cupboard and Sheila Bradley Books. There will be kids characters, reading giveaways and activities. Don’t miss special guests celebrating Dr. Seuss’ birthday starting at 10:30 a.m. and the Kapaa Middle School Choir and Ukulele Band performance at noon.
