Crews have finished building the longest predator exclusion fence in the U.S. Pono Pacific Land Management constructed the 11,200-foot fence along the perimeter of the Kilauea Point National Wildlife Refuge on Kauai. Officials say it will help protect tens of thousands of migratory and native birds from non-native predators like pigs and feral cats.
