A public hearing is being held this morning on the issue of recreational marijuana. The State Senate is set to take up the matter during a joint Health and Human Services and Judiciary committees meeting. Senate Bill 3335 legalizes adult-use cannabis and establishes the Hawaii cannabis Authority and Cannabis Control Board to regulate all aspects of the cannabis plant within the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs.
