Adults who want to learn how to swim and parents who want their preschool-aged kids to get a head-start on learning about water safety can get the lessons they need in October and November thanks to the county Department of Parks and Recreation. Kauai Now News reports Adult swim classes and aquatic lessons for preschoolers will be conducted at the Waimea swimming pool. Registration for the adult lessons is Sept. 17 and 24, and parents can register their kids Sept. 22 for the preschool classes. Registration hours for both sets of classes is from 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
