Kauai police are looking for the driver involved in a hit-and-run that critically injured a bicyclist. Officers responded to Rice Street in Lihue shortly before 9 PM Tuesday after a bicyclist was reported hit by a vehicle. The driver reportedly left the scene before first responders got there. A 47-year-old man was headed west on Rice when police say he was hit from behind by a white Toyota Tacoma, also headed west. The bicyclist was taken to Wilcox Medical Center in critical condition. The investigation is ongoing.
