The state income tax filing and payment deadline has been extended from April 20 to July 20. The extension is due to the Kona Low storms that have hit the islands. Starting today, taxpayers can file a Form L-115, Tax Relief Request for State Declared Disasters. The State Department of Taxation encourages taxpayers to file the form electronically via Hawaii Tax Online.
