The Surfrider Foundation is calling on volunteers for their weekly Net Patrols. Volunteers remove plastic pollution, large nets, and other marine debris from Kaua’I Coastlines according to surfrider.org. The next Net Patrol meets tomorrow night at 8:30 in Anahola. A High Surf Warning was set to expire at 6 AM today for all south-facing shores. Kaua’I is still assessing the damages caused by a historic south swell in the wake of Hurricane Darby. A no swimming and snorkeling advisory on south and west facing shores remained in effect Monday according to the Ocean Safety Bureau.
Seabury Hall will host its annual golf tournament at the Wailea Blue Course on Saturday, September 10th.
