Tropical storm Calvin continues towards the Big Island with sustained winds of 60 mph as it continues on a west-northwest path at 17 mph, located 1,150 miles east southeast of Hilo.
The National Weather Service said the center of Tropical Storm Calvin is expected to move “close to, or over, the islands” from Tuesday night through Wednesday night.
