Over 1.6 million people visited Hawaii Volcanoes National Park last year. That’s an increase of nearly 2 and a half percent in 2023 from the previous year. Overall, the National Park Service announced that 400 national parks reported a total of 325 and a half million visitors in 2023, an increase of 4 percent, or 13 million, over 2022.
