Firefighters put out a small brush fire Friday night along Waimea Canyon Drive. Waimea and Hanapepe firefighters responded shortly after 7:30 pm and found an area of about 50 feet by 50 feet of brush and trees on fire. The flames were surrounded by a small reservoir making access difficult. The scene was cleared by around 11 pm and no injuries were reported.
