Box Jellyfish at Salt Pond

Safety officials have posted “Box Jellyfish” signs at Salt Pond beach parks on Kauai.  Officials also advise avoiding swimming on south and west-facing shores because the jellyfish may be near the shore.  Beachgoers should follow all warning signs.  For more information about ocean conditions and ocean safety, visit hawaiibeachsafety.com or call the Ocean Safety Bureau.
