Kauai Community College students are preparing foods to donate weekly to the victims of the Maui fires. Second-year culinary students are learning how to prepare bulk food under instructors Chef Steve Nakata and Chef Mark Oyama, with help from Oahu-based non-profit Chef Hui. The shipments are being frozen and sent over weekly to Maui Community College, and then handed out to community members
