The Kauaʻi Emergency Management Agency (KEMA) has reopened the application period for its Fiscal Year 2026-2027 Grant-in-Aid program on Friday. The new deadline is October 30. New applicants are encouraged to apply. Organizations that have already submitted an application may submit an updated one if they choose. The program is intended to benefit the people of the County of Kauaʻi by funding community emergency preparedness needs for which adequate federal or state funding cannot be secured. Proposals will be reviewed and considered for funding.
