County of Kauai officials say the Homeowner Assistance Fund program will close its application portal on May 1st. Both the state and the county are participating in the program funded through the American Rescue Plan. Homeowners who live on Kauai and are interested in applying must submit a completed application no later than 11:59 pm on April 30th to be considered for funding.
