Quick action by the Kauai Fire Department limited damage to a popular Lihue restaurant and nightclub. An electrical fire Wednesday afternoon generated an estimated $90,000 in damages to WB’s Restaurant and Grill at the corner of Umi and Ewalu Street. KFD says most of the damage was generated by smoke. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. No one was injured in the blaze. Owner Wilma Bumanglag tells STAR 94.3 News, “we are hoping to rebuild & re-open as soon as possible.”
