The invasive Ramie Moth has arrived in Kauai. The moth was reported to the Kauai Invasive Species Committee, according to the Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources. The female moth could lay as many as 200 eggs and the moth can quickly defoliate nettles and threaten the Kamehameha butterfly.
