Kauai County Department of Water will shut down water service on a portion of Poipu Road Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. The shutdown is planned to begin Tuesday night at 9 PM through Wednesday morning at 5 AM. The shutdown is to allow contractors to work on the Poipu Road Safety and Mobility Project. Customers are asked to prepare for the shutdown by storing enough water for the eight-hour shutdown and for businesses in the effect area to prepare for the shutdown.
