Hawaii Police Department Police Officer Noah Serrao pled no contest to criminal charges of perjury, false swearing in official matters and tampering with a government record.  Serrao accused of an unconstitutional search of an arrestee’s belongings inside the Hilo Police Station.  The officer faces up to seven years and $12,000 in fines.  Sentencing is June 30.
