Three dead, two injured after a helicopter crashed into the ocean at Kalalau Beach. A pilot and four passengers were on board the Airborne Aviation flight when it crashed around 3:45 on Thursday afternoon. Two transported to Wilcox Hospital. Kaua’I Fire Department, Kauai’ Emergency Management, the US Coast Guard, American Medical Response, the Department of Land and Natural Resources, and the Kaua’I Police Department responded to the scene.
