The Department of Water will conduct a test shutdown for emergency today. Residents in the area of Reservoir Dam Road and anyone on the second-floor of structures in that area could experience intermittent water outages due to low water pressure. Crews will be evaluating the system prior to future repair work by operating the booster in low-frequency mode to help supply water pressure to the affected customers. This will be in the area of Wailua Homesteads.
